KG6CYN Experimenters DDS VFO (Prototype)

This is NOT the correct LCD Display for this DDS VFO.  The supplier is currently out of them so I substituted this one from another project.  It is a standard 2x16 gray reflective LCD display whereas the correct LCD that plugs directly into the CPU board is a VERY nice backlit display.

Once I wired it up... I moved the two boards towards the right side away from the power connector.  I had to custom make that ribbon cable to connect the LCD.  If I had the correct LCD it would have simply plugged into the front of the CPU board.

The following photos are of the one of the first prototype boards.  Several changes have been made now that are not shown here.
